Sandor Koles is currently Richard von Weizsaecker Fellow at the Robert Bosch Stiftung, Germany. He also serves as Senior Advisor to the Budapest-based International Center for Democratic Transition (ICDT) and the Prague based Institute for Stability and Development (ISD). Previously, Sandor was the Senior Vice-President for Programs and Development with the International Centre for Democratic Transition based in Hungary, aimed at promoting security, rule of law, and civil society development. Sandor’s current fellowship program focuses on cross-border and inter-regional cooperation in a wider Europe, with special focus on frozen conflict regions, such as Transnistria and Nagorno-Karabkah. He is the author and editor of a number of publications and documentaries on community and civil society development, inter-ethnic issues, and cross-border/inter-regional cooperation.
